Started from a common frustration
Duittra came together in 2021 when a small group of educators and independent consultants in Kuala Lumpur noticed a pattern: many talented freelancers were managing their money using frameworks built for salaried employment. The results were predictable — stress during slow months, confusion during busy ones, and no clear way to plan ahead when income varied week to week.
The team spent the following year working closely with designers, tradespeople, writers, and tech contractors across Malaysia to understand what actually mattered. What emerged was a set of educational programmes that take irregular income as the starting point — not something to be corrected, but something to be planned around.
Today, Duittra operates from Bangsar South and offers sessions, courses, and a comprehensive programme for freelancers at every stage. The approach is calm and practical: we share frameworks, tools, and information. Participants decide how to apply them.

Personal financial details shared in sessions are kept strictly within the session. No data is shared with third parties without explicit consent.

All content is framed as general education. Participants are consistently reminded to seek qualified professionals for regulated advice.

Most standard personal finance frameworks skip past that complexity.
Duittra's programmes are built around the reality of variable pay. The buffer-building approach, the income smoothing frameworks, and the record-keeping systems taught across our sessions are designed with that irregularity as the baseline — not as a problem to be solved, but as a feature of freelance work to be navigated with clear information.
